Description:
Steel is the story in this project! True Blue resides in Chicago’s historic Old Post Office building which went through a major renovation in recent years. We worked closely with the team at Partners by Design to enhance the beautiful exposed brick by incorporating decorative steel framing. To bring in biophilic elements, we fabricated a large steel ceiling planter in the café area and several large steel grid space dividers in the large collaboration area that features planter boxes and shelving.
The reception area features laser cut steel signage and an additional hot rolled steel planter Rounding out the project we added finishing touches in the break-out area, fabricating hot rolled steel mesh ceiling panels and an urban walnut community table + shelving.
